Who am I?  (Not 24601.  Or am I?  JK, I'm celiac. I can't steal bread.)

I'm an author of historical fiction novels, with cross-genre elements.  My novel, Pondered in her Heart: A Novel of the American Revolution, (second edition published in July of 2022) showcases these elements the best.  You have a love story, with ghosts, some murder, some mystery, and some suspense. I love adding in elements from other genres to add to the plot and characters of my novels.

While my stories can deal with some heavy themes, there is always a balance of light and dark.  And while my books are not Christian Fiction, they are written with a Christian worldview.  I do my best to write what people would consider "clean" fiction, though clean is subjective and I always recommend, no matter who the author is, or what the book is, checking out what you're about to read before jumping in.

I'm also an illustrator, proficient in watercolors and digital art, but I also have a decent Copic Marker collection, as well as some other mediums. (One day, I'll master gouache.) I love drawing character art of all sorts, from fanart to original characters.  Or fanart of my novels.  (Is it considered fanart if it's of my own works?  I do have a silly digital illustration I did of Tom Cruise as one of my characters in Pondered.) I've also gotten into some landscapes and florals.  Something about painting delicate flower petals with a thin brush is so satisfying.

And finally, I'm a cosplayer, historical dress maker, and performer.  (All wrapped up in the nice neat term of "cosplayer.") Maybe this comes from being born to a mother who loved musical theater, and thereby thrust me into the world of very pretty costumes and music at an early age.  Maybe this comes from an overactive imagination.  But I do know one thing.  5-year-old me hated the fact that all my costumes came with a little cameo of the character on them.  I didn't want to represent the character.  I wanted to be the character.  So here I am, as an adult, dressing up and performing in pretty clothes.  If you ever drop by one of my market events for my novels and arts, you'll probably see me in historical dress or character cosplay.

Thanks for checking out my website!  Hopefully you can find some neat things here!
